Kids Sewing Workshops Age 8 and up

Something for the kids!

Workshops are 2.5-3 hours and are catered towards ages 8-11 or 12-18. Each class starts with a 15-20 minute introduction to the sewing machine. First time sewers will learn to work basic stitches and once comfortable, we’ll start on a project - something fun that they’ll take home at the end of the day.

If your child knows the basics, they can skip the intro and get right into it!

wallets
felt sewing kits
pencil pots
felt needle books
aprons
reversible tote bags
zippered pouches
holiday stockings and tree ornaments
skirts
tops
repurposing, upcycling and mending

Small groups with plenty of individual attention. All materials included. Sewing machines and all equipment will be provided.

Studio address will be included in your confirmation email upon receipt of your purchase. Parents to please walk their children into the studio and sign in before leaving. By signing up for this workshop, you are agreeing to our Booking and Cancellation Policy.

Such fun

I’m a nanny, and the 12 yo in my care took the Kids Sewing Workshop where they made reversible tote bags. She loved it. Learned a ton, and came home with a super cool tote she created. She’s signed up for the zippered pouch class in October is looking forward. I highly recommend these workshops. Lissa is lovely, and articulate. She’s patient, and is super thoughtful with the kids.
