Loved It!

Lissa was amazing...so patient, kind and thoughtful. The small group of ladies I got to meet, made each week that much more fun to learn. It was such a wonderful experience, and I'm excited to get my sewing on. Look forward to taking some of the other workshops.

Best sewing classes

I had the best experience taking the 4 week Intro to Sewing class. I came in with zero experience and left with completed projects and the confidence to make more! Lissa is the greatest teacher. She’s kind, insightful, patient, and thoughtful. The classes are very well thought out and each project builds on the next. I can’t recommend this class enough! Excited to continue taking classes here.

Great Class!

I am truly a beginner and by the end of this four week class, I had purchased my own sewing machine and material to start making projects at home and continue with my sewing education. Lissa is a pleasure to be around with and is a wonderful teacher. Her teaching style is effortless and when you come to her with a problem, she often sees it before you even tell her. She also has such a calming effect, that even if you make a mistake, you never get frustrated. We were introduced to so many aspects of sewing, from sewing in a zipper, making seams, learning to work with a pattern, sewing on a surger (now that was fun!) and inserting elastic into a garment. Her knowledge of sewing is never ending. Thank you, Lissa!

worth every penny

I cannot say enough about how great this 4 week class was. I brought my own 15+ year old machine with me each week and learned more about using it in the first class than I had ever known. Lissa is an incredible instructor. She is so patient and adjusts her pace to meet the class. The small in person class environment (just 5 of us) gave each of us the attention we needed. I'm excited to explore more class options in the future and will definitely be wearing the pants I made!

Making Sewing Approachable!

This four class intro series was such a pleasure and made learning the basics fun & approachable. The small-group dynamic is great for one-on-one support but also fielding questions and learning from the other people in the class. Lissa is an amazing teacher - really clear instructions and kind guidance - it felt like we couldn't misstep :). Bringing in my own machine to get more comfortable on it was great, and I will certainly be back for more classes down the road!
